Unbeaten Spartans take down Hurricane 6-2

WILMINGTON — Unbeaten Waynesville overwhelmed Wilmington 6-2 Saturday in non-league boys soccer action at Alumni Field.

Bryce Vilvens had two goals and Ben Angelica recorded an assist for the Hurricane (6-3).

Scotty Hall and Nicholas Zerkle combined for 15 saves in goal for Wilmington.

Waynesville is 8-0-2 on the year.
