WILMINGTON, Ohio—Dr. Coreen (Corey) Cockerill, president of Wilmington College, will be the featured speaker at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at the 3M Men’s Club which meets at the Ohio Living Cape May Campus Center. She will be joined by Dr. Russell Kincaid, a professor at WC.

The 3M Club, which is open to the public, hosts speakers with various expertise on the first and third Mondays of every month—second and fourth when holidays fall on one on one of those dates. Coffee and pastries are provided by Ohio Living Cape May.

Dr. Cockerill was named the 20th president of WC in March of 2024 after a 16-year career as a professor of agriculture and communication arts. She received her PhD from Ohio State University in 2006 in the areas of environmental sociology and communication, and prior to her academic appointment, served as the electronic communications manager at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife.

Dr. Kincaid graduated cum laude from Denison University in 1989 with majors in physics and mathematics. He has worked in academia since 2003 and is currently nearing the completion of his 11th year at WC.
