WILMINGTON — In its second straight three-set match against a county opponent, Wilmington defeated Clinton-Massie 25-11, 25-12, 25-18 Tuesday night at Fred Summers Court.
Wilmington, coming off a three-set win over Blanchester last week, improves to 5-9 overall, 2-5 in the American Division.
The Falcons drop to 1-14 overall and 0-7 in the conference.
“Girls played hard and we hit the ball well,” Wilmington coach Stephanie Reveal said. “Was able to see them play a little looser and not have so much tension on making a mistake. We served aggressive and moved the ball much better.”
WHS leaders were Taryn Allen with 17 points, Miya Nance with nine kills, Aidynne Tippett with 24 assists and Layla Reynolds with 12 digs.
