State Route 134 culvert replacement scheduled

A five-day culvert replacement project will get under way at the start of next week on State Route 134 at Township Road 101 (Berlin Road) in Clinton County, requiring closure of the local road, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).

Beginning Monday, Sept. 23, crews from ODOT’s Clinton County maintenance facility will be replacing a culvert at the junction of S.R. 134 and Berlin Road, approximately 1.5 miles south of Wilmington.

Throughout the week, traffic on S.R. 134 will be maintained in one lane with the use of flaggers; however, Berlin Road will be closed at the junction with S.R. 134.

The closure is scheduled to be in effect through Friday, September 27, and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of Marion and Harland drives.

All work will be contingent upon the weather. For ongoing traffic, construction and weather-related information throughout the state, please visit www.OHGO.com.
