Falcons pick up wins over Eagles, Mustangs at The Mill

CINCINNATI — Andy Steed continued his torrid play and Clinton-Massie won a tri-match with Madeira and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Thursday at The Mill Course.

The Falcons had a 157 team total while the Eagles of CHCA had a 160 and the Mustangs of Madeira came in with 184. CM coach Phil Larrick noted the absence of two starters for Madeira, a team that made the state tournament last season.

“This was a nice win against two quality opponents on a challenging course,” Larrick said.

Steed was match medalist with a 35.

Owen Goodwin had a 38 for Clinton-Massie and was followed by Colson Morgan (42), Jack DeHart (42), Wyatt Scott (44) and Micah Ruther (46).
