ADAMS TOWNSHIP — A long-shot goal and a seventh clean sheet of the season were the highlights of Clinton-Massie’s 1-0 win over Bethel-Tate Thursday in non-league boys soccer action at Frank Irelan Field.

The Falcons are 8-5 on the year while the Tigers drop to 7-5-2.

Clinton-Massie has won all seven home matches this season and have a 10-match non-losing streak at FIF. Massie finished the 2023 season at home with two ties and a win. The last home loss was a 2-1 decision to Miami Trace on Oct. 9, 2023.

Kennedy Morgan scored the only Falcons goal, blasting one from 65 yards out, CM coach Trevor Kackley said.

“Kennedy Morgan spotted the BT keeper off his line and took a shot from 65 yards out. The ball bounced off the turf and over the BT goalie,” Kackley reported.

Jack Thamann made 10 saves for his seventh shutout of the season.
