ODOT weekly construction update

Through the week ending Oct. 5: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Clinton County, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). All work will be contingent upon the weather.

NEW IMPACT

S.R. 729 Resurfacing – Between Larrick/Cox Road at Lees Creek and the Fayette County line. Construction is scheduled to begin in early October with pavement repairs, followed by paving operations. Traffic will be maintained in one lane with the use of flaggers, and although the interim completion will be in late fall 2024, all work is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2025.

CONTINUING IMPACT

S.R. 73/28 Resurfacing – On S.R. 73, between Antioch Road and the Highland County line, and on S.R. 28, between the intersection with S.R. 73 in New Vienna and the Highland County line. Traffic will be maintained in one lane with the use of flaggers during daytime, working hours. All work is scheduled to be completed in mid to late fall of this year.
