GOSHEN — Taking advantage of a few fortunate bounces, Goshen won the fourth and decisive set against Wilmington to win the match 25-16, 25-16, 15-25, 25-20 Tuesday night.

The Hurricane is 8-11 overall, 3-6 in the conference. The Warriors are 9-10 overall, 4-5 in league play.

“We played well the first part of set one and two then stopped being aggressive and started tipping and things got away from us,” WHS coach Stephanie Reveal said. “Set three we hit and kept them on the defensive. Set four we started sluggish and played catch up most of match.”

Reveal said the fourth set was tied at 18-18 but “they had a couple net plays that bounced their way and we just couldn’t finish,” Reveal said.
