Locals rock and roll at Wilmington Oktoberfest

Ain’t no party like an Oktoberfest party ‘cause an Oktoberfest party don’t stop!

Hurricane Helene moved into the Wilmington area on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, bringing winds gusting up to 67 mph and rain throughout the weekend. The severe weather resulted in the cancellation of many events around town, including the daytime festivities at Wilmington’s Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024.

But the show went on in the evening at the Fraternal Order of Eagles on East Sugartree Street, featuring Cincinnati’s favorite cover band, The Menus.

The audience rocked and rolled for nearly three hours while enjoying lots of beer, jello shots and apple blossoms. Prost!
