LEES CREEK — The East Clinton freshman volleyball team continued its season with four matches against Western Brown, McClain, Wilmington Christian and Wilmington High School.
On Sept. 25, East Clinton lost to Wilmington despite a great game behind the service line, coach Rhylee Luttrell said.
On Sept. 19, the Astros lost to Wilmington Christian Academy in the Volley For A Cure match honoring Claudia Martinez.
On Sept. 16, EC was battling illness and lost to McClain in three sets, showing improvement from the previous match against the Tigers, Luttrell said.
On Sept. 12, EC lost to Western Brown. Luttrell said the team played well together and communicated well.
