WILLIAMSBURG — East Clinton’s bid for a perfect SBAAC National Division season ended Thursday with a 20-25, 19-25, 17-25 loss to Williamsburg.
“Williamsburg came ready to play and we didn’t,” EC head coach Sarah Sodini said. “We made a lot of good plays but we had more errors than we usually do. Playing at Williamsburg is always tough.”
Karsyn Jamison had a strong offensive day at the net, recording 15 kills with just five errors.
The Astros finish the regular season 16-6 overall and 11-1 in the National Division. Despite the loss, East Clinton is the National Division champion and has won three of the last four league titles.
