Woods gets national champion sign in Lees Creek

Signage for Gabby Woods, a Sabina resident, and her 2024 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship went up on state Route 729 at Lees Creek recently. A Clinton-Massie High School graduate, Woods was national runnerup in 2023 before winning it all in 2024. She turned pro and played her first LPGA Tour event last month in the LPGA Kroger Queen City Championship Presented by P&G at TPC River’s Bend Golf and Country Club.
