The East Clinton freshman volleyball team closed its season with a loss to Western Brown on Oct. 8.
This was the third meeting of the year between the two teams and EC coach Rhylee Luttrell said “the girls played hard and fought hard the entire game. You could see their improvement over the season. The girls were able to play well and make smart plays on offense and there were multiple times volleys were drawn out and they were able to make the Broncos make mistakes.”
Masie Beener had a dig, three passes, five serves. Shelby Camp had five passes and a serve. Lily Griffith came up with eight passes and five serves.
Maggie Huff had a kill, an assist, two digs, two aces and 13 serves. Hannah Lovely had a serve and Marli Pirman finished with a block, two passes and a serve.
Rylie Pryor contributed a kill, six passes and a serve. Ezabella Robinson had two blocks at the net. Natalie Seba-Mixtega had three passes and a serve.
