OSU Extension Clinton County is providing an evening workshop on raising game birds. This workshop is for people interested in raising game birds in captivity for personal use such as dog training, consumption, 4-H projects, and marketing to others.

Not only is this workshop for those of you interested in raising your own birds in captivity, but we are also covering the topic of making your property conducive to attracting wild game birds. OSU Extension educators will provide a demonstration on field dressing birds, and wildlife officers will be discussing rules and regulations associated with game birds.

· Brooding and housing

· Species selection

· Nutrition

· Marketing & Cost Analysis

· Disease and Parasite Control

· Rules and Regulations

· Saving Feathers

· Habitat & Food Plots
