Main Street paving repairs project to begin Tuesday

WILMINGTON, Ohio — The City of Wilmington has announced the commencement of the Main Street Paving Repairs project, with lane closures beginning Tuesday, Oct. 29.

The Main Street Paving Repairs project includes pavement patching and crack sealing of Main Street, beginning at the intersection of West Main Street and Nelson Avenue and terminating at Wall Street.

Motorists should expect lane closures and lane shifts beginning on Oct. 29 and ending on or before Friday, Nov. 1, weather permitting. Traffic will be maintained; however, motorists should anticipate and prepare for delays.

The City of Wilmington is managing the project. Cox Paving, LLC has been awarded the construction contract.

The Main Street Paving Repairs project is funded by the City of Wilmington Permissive Tax Fund.
