NORWOOD — East Clinton’s gritty rally from a 2-0 deficit to top-seed Miami Valley Christian fell short Wednesday in a Division VI district semifinal volleyball match at NHS.
The Astros (17-7) fell behind 2-0 with 25-16, 25-19 losses to MVC then won a wild third set 25-23 before forcing a winner-take-all fifth set.
The two teams battled to the end with Miami Valley Christian coming out on top 15-13.
