CLARKSVILLE — The Clinton-Warren Joint Fire District responded to a two-vehicle accident on Friday at the intersection of Lebanon and Hadley roads near Clarksville. Additional crews from Wilmington and Chester Township were called to assist.

Sgt. Jeremy Grillot, of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, told the News Journal that at 2:19 p.m. on Friday, a 2011 Jeep Wrangler driven by an 83-year-old Clarksville male “failed to yield from a stop sign on Hadley Road and was struck by a 2016 Infiniti that was westbound on Lebanon Road.”

The Infiniti was driven by a 22-year-old from New Albany and had two passengers — a 24-year-old female from New Albany and a 20-year-old female from Loveland.

“All three occupants from the Infiniti were transported by ground to Clinton Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Jeep was transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital,” said Grillot.
