Stroud leads Falcons to win in first divisional, Hurricane second

GOSHEN — Led by medalist Stormie Stroud, Clinton-Massie won the first SBAAC girls golf divisional match Monday at Deer Track Golf Course.

The Falcons had a 190 while Wilmington finished second with a 216.

Stroud had a nine-hole best of 41 to top the 44-player field.

“Stormie played very well, some of the best golf I have seen her ever play at times,” Clinton-Massie coach James Brady said. “She’s really been pushing herself outside of practice.

“I was pleased with our performance as a team. We will continue to grow and find our rhythm.”
