CENTERVILLE — Clinton-Massie lost a hard-fought match Wednesday with Centerville by five strokes at Yankee Trace Golf Club.
“We had a chance to beat a good DI school on their course but unfortunately had our worst round of the year,” Clinton-Massie coach Phil Larrick said.
Continuing his strong early-season play, Owen Goodwin was the match medalist with a 1-under 34.
Clinton-Massie lost the match 163 to 168.
The Falcons will play their first home match of the season 4:30 p.m. Tuesday against Cincinnati St. Xavier at Majestic Springs Golf Club.
