WILMINGTON — East Clinton and Wilmington played an exhibition golf match Tuesday here at the Elks 797 Golf Club.
Wade Smith of East Clinton had a 45. Coach Thomas Sodini said, “His ball striking has improved tremendously. I look forward to seeing even more improvements.”
Mitchell Ellis had a 48 and Colton Burgess shot a 60 for the Astros. Jamison Matthews came in with 65.
Sodini said he considered this an exhibition match against the Hurricane junior varsity.
