Defending league champion Tigers best BHS in National opener

BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester girls soccer team lost to Bethel-Tate Tuesday in SBAAC National Division play.

Blanchester (1-1 overall, 0-1 in league play) faced the defending National Division champions in its league opener. The Tigers are 2-0, 1-0 this season.

Coach Kyle Hamilton said Karlee Tipton made 12 saves in goal. BHS had “a few shots on goal but could not break through,” the coach added.
