Salon 92 celebrates grand opening

An open house was recently held at Salon 92 in recognition of its grand opening.

Salon 92 proudly opened its doors to the community with a grand opening on Thursday, Aug. 22, according to a news release. The open house, held at 712 S. South St., Unit 2 in Wilmington, welcomed local residents and guests to celebrate this exciting new addition to Wilmington’s beauty scene.

The evening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, held in collaboration with the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, marking the official opening of the salon. A celebratory champagne toast followed, adding a festive touch to the occasion. Guests enjoyed a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with snacks and drinks, while exploring the beautifully designed salon space.

Co-owners Doughlena Irwin and Ashlee Cupp were thrilled to welcome the community to their new salon, saying, “We are excited to offer a space that is welcoming, cozy, and judgement free! We want everyone to come in feeling comfortable and leave feeling like their best self.”

Attendees had the opportunity to meet the owners, take a tour of the brand-new salon, and learn more about the range of services Salon 92 offers, including color, haircuts, clipper cuts, formal styling, and head spa treatments. Guests also had the chance to enter a drawing for exciting prizes, adding an extra element of fun to the celebration.
