The Clinton-Massie Middle School volleyball teams split matches Thursday with East Clinton.
The seventh grade came out on top 2-1 over the Astros.
The eighth grade lost to East Clinton 20-25, 21-25.
Coach Natalee Hillman said her team struggled to do the basics “communicating, moving and serving.”
She added the team had more service errors in this match than any other this season.
Sarah Russell and Bristol Brady had four aces each for the Falcons, now 3-3 on the year.
