Astros roll to 4th straight win over Blue Jays

LEES CREEK — East Clinton rolled to a fourth straight win Wednesday, defeating Ripley 25-14, 25-17, 25-16 in non-league action at the EC gym.

East Clinton (6-2) was led by Karsyn Jamison and Sahara Tate with eight kills each. The team had 26 kills and nine hitting errors.

“The girls continue to play like a team,” coach Sarah Sodini said. “I’m really impressed with their attitudes and hustle. Our back row had a phenomenal game.”

Other leaders were Emily Arnold with 18 assists, Tate with 10 digs and 25 passes, Colie Murarescu with six blocks.

East Clinton also had 24 service aces with six players credited with three or more aces. Makayla Seaman led the way with five aces.
