Hurricane beat Bulldogs 3-1, tied with trio one game off league lead

BATAVIA — Wilmington remains in contention in the SBAAC American Division boys soccer standings Tuesday following a 3-1 win over Batavia on the BHS pitch.

The Hurricane and Bulldogs, along with Clinton-Massie, are tied at 4-2 in the American Division. They all trail 5-1 Goshen in the standings.

Wilminton is 6-2 overall while Batavia is now 5-4-1.

Ben Angelica scored a pair of goals for the Hurricane while Bryce Vilvens had a goal and Jason Tecu contributed an assist.

Scotty Hall made 10 saves in goal for Wilmington.
