EC 7th, tops CNE, Burg, at Bethel-Tate Invitational

BETHEL — The East Clinton boys cross country team finished seventh Saturday at the Bethel-Tate Invitational.

Astro coach Josh Simmons said the course was flat and new to all runners. With fair temperatures, he said, it was ideal running conditions.

“This is the second time this year the Astros have seen a large number of league schools and the match-ups are looking good,” Simmons said. “EC walked away with three medals and three PRs on the day.”
