EC/Great Oaks FFA holds petting zoo at Corn Festival

Members of the East Clinton Great Oaks FFA Chapter participated at the Clinton County Corn Festival by bringing in their animals to share with the children. The chapter brought cows, pigs, goats, lambs, chickens, rabbits, and a turtle. There were many games and they offered crafts, as well. Members encouraged the kids to “plant your seed” by getting a cup of soil and planting a seed in it. Members also sold squares for the Cow Bingo, where supporters could buy squares to win half the pot of the proceeds. The winning spot was 21. This year’s winner was Cathy Smith.
