The following are upcoming events in Clinton County:

Early Learning Center Fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings

On Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings® on 143 Fairway Drive in Wilmington. In support of the Early Learning Center (ELC), mention the fundraiser for dine-in or carryout and 15% of your order will fund the organization (excluding tax, gratuity, alcohol, or promotional discounts).

Wilmington Marching Band Fundraiser at Gold Star Chili

In support of the Wilmington High School Marching Band, this fundraiser will take place on Sept. 18, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Gold Star Chili at 295 Rombach Ave. in Wilmington.

Second Annual Farm to Bottle Festival

Bringing growers, bottlers and consumers together, this second-annual festival located at the Clinton County Fairgrounds from Sept. 19-22 will feature food, drinks, and live acts. Thursday is free admission, Friday/Saturday are $15 in advance, $20 at the gate and Sunday is $10 in advance, $15 at the gate. September Wilmington Food Truck Rally

This food truck rally, happening from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 20 at 1499 Rombach Ave. in Wilmington, will feature approximately a dozen food trucks (lineup subject to change). Food trucks scheduled include Mr Twisty, Our Cakery Cottage, De’Lish, Beckers SMASH-tastic Burgers and many more.

Face 2 Face/The Tribute to Elton John

Come for a night of tribute to English singer/songwriter Elton John at the historic Murphy Theatre located in downtown Wilmington at 50 W. Main Street. The event takes place Friday, Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m. For further information and to purchase tickets, please visit the Murphy Theatre’s website.

Clinton County Farmers Market

The second farmers market in September of 2024 will be held on Main Street near the Clinton County Courthouse between South and Walnut streets, from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Sept. 21. September’s farmer’s market will feature a “Kids Market,” which will allow kids a chance to sell their crafts or other produced items.

Silent Watch at the Veteran’s Memorial

On Sat., Sept. 21, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., a Silent Watch will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial on Main and Walnut Streets to honor veterans and raise awareness about veteran suicides. Organized by Clinton County Veteran Services, community members are invited to sign up for 20-minute shifts to stand in silent vigil. For more information or to participate, call (937) 382-3233.

Buttermilk’s Bakery/Blue Goose Fall Market at Tin Cap

Serving treats from Buttermilk’s Bakery, this open air market where you will be able to shop local small businesses and their beautiful handcrafted and carefully curated products will be happening on Saturday Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside the Tin Cap at 59 W. Sugartree St. in Wilmington.

Opening Day at Schappacher Farms

Located at 3068 W. State Route 73 in Wilmington, Schappacher Farms Pumpkin and Farm Market’s opening day will be Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. Come enjoy pumpkin picking, hayrides, a free corn maze, apple cider slushies, hot apple cider donuts and more.

Harveysburg Historic Fall Fest

On Saturday, Sept. 21 from noon to 4 p.m., the ninth-annual Harveysburg Historic Fall Fest will have free entertainment, parking and a tour of the first free Black school in Ohio, located at 23 North St. in Harveysburg. Free Dinner at Blan’s Grace UMC

Grace United Methodist Church in Blanchester will host a free dinner for the community from 4:30-6p.m., (its last Grill Out of the season) Thursday, Sept. 26, in the Fellowship Hall of the church. The church extends a warm welcome to anyone in the community to enjoy a delicious meal of: burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, green beans, chips, desserts and drinks, plus, a chance to visit with their neighbors, and listen to the musical stylings of Pastor Dean. All are welcome. The church is located on the corner of Center and Wright streets.

2024 Golf Classic

Ohio’s Hospice 2024 Golf Classic will be happening Sept. 27 at the Snow Hill Golf Course at 11093 State Rt. 73 in New Vienna. Registration and breakfast start at 7:45 a.m. This event will include 18 holes of golf with a cart, breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks. Registration is $19 per golfer, and $300 for teams of four.

Schappacher Farms Food Truck Rally

This event is happening Sept. 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. and will feature food trucks from across Clinton County, including Beckers SMASH-tastic Burgers, Baker St. Culinary Solutions, Doc’s Dogs, ILLYS Fire Pizza and Hot Flash Eats. Enjoy a free corn maze and hayrides, jumbo-sized yard games, Timmy Train rides and more.

Right to Life of Clinton Co. to show film

A movie of the 1916 Project by Seth Gruber will be shown Friday, Sept. 27 at Dove Church from 7 to 8:30 p.m. It is free but recommended for ages 14-years-old and up. The event is sponsored by Right to Life of Clinton County.

Fall Craft Fair and Pumpkin Fest

Taking place Sept. 27, 28 and 29 at Kirkwood Camp & Adventure Park at 5719 SR-73 from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, and 12 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (Twisted Trails opens after dark). This fall craft fair is free (with $5 for parking and admission to Twisted Trails will receive a discounted price for attending the craft fair) will have games, food, live games, crafts and haunted evening attractions. A $20 wristband is required to enjoy all attractions at Kirkwood Camp and Adventure Park.

Main Street Oktoberfest

Held on Sept. 28 from 1 to 10 p.m. on 146 E. Sugartree St. in Wilmington, this Bavarian-themed event is an annual kickoff of the fall with food, drinks and activities for the kids from 1 to 5 p.m., and will feature DJs and live music from The Menus from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Isaacs: A Tribute to the Grand Ole Opry

Come enjoy the sounds of the Grand Ole Opry on Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m., with a meet and greet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Featuring the Isaacs, an award-winning bluegrass & gospel music group who have toured with the likes of Reba McEntire, featuring opening act My Brother’s Keeper, a progressive bluegrass group from Cincinnati. Jim Miller Memorial Car Show

Happening at Caesar’s Creek Flea Market at 7763 OH-73 in Wilmington on Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This fifth-annual memorial car show will have vendors, goodie bags and dash magnets for the first 50, food trucks and more.

Riding with Ralph’s – Bike Night & Motorcycle Show

Hosted by Ralph’s American Grill on 123 Gano Road. This Grand Finale Bike Night Event happens on Oct. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. (with pre-registration from 4 to 5 p.m.) will feature live music and vendors, with competition on Best in Show, Best Paint and Best Sound. Entry fee is $15.

Wilmington High School Class of 1974 Reunion

The Wilmington High School Class of 1974 will be having their 50th reunion on Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. and then a gathering on Oct. 5 at the Murphy Theatre for food and fellowship. Those wishing to attend should RSVP to Denis McBrayer at [email protected].

Chili Cook-Off and Bengals Watch Party at Lake House Grill

Come for chili, stay for the Bengals. Bring your best chili recipe and compete in this event happening Oct. 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lake House Grill at 112 S. Clarksville Rd. in Clarksville. All patrons will vote on their favorite chili recipe, with the winner being featured on the menu.

Forever Simon & Garfunkel – A Tribute

Celebrating the classic folk duo of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, this tribute concert takes place Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Murphy Theatre in downtown Wilmington. With music from both the duo’s classic lineup of albums, as well as songs from Paul Simon’s solo career including The Sounds Of Silence, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Mrs. Robinson, I Am A Rock, The Boxer, Homeward Bound, Cecilia, Hazy Shade Of Winter, Feeling Groovy, Me & Julio, Kodachrome, Slip Sliding Away, and many more.
