Clinton-Massie eighth grade drops last three matches

The Clinton-Massie eighth grade volleyball team dropped its last three matches.

On Tuesday, the young Falcons lost to Western Brown in a close match 22-25, 22-25.

“For the most part we played pretty well,” coach Natalee Hillman said. “There are just two many times when we don’t quite believe in ourselves as much as we should. Bristol Brady and Macy Morgan both led us in aces with four each.”

On Monday, Massie went three sets but lost to Wilmington 21-25, 25-19, 21-25.

Hillman said serving errors were an issue in this one for the Falcons, along with communication and movement.

On Sept. 12, Clinton-Massie lost a another tight battle 24-26, 20-25 to Batavia. Serving again was an area of concern in a match that was up and down for the Falcons.
