Hall stops 10, Hurricane blanks Falcons to stay on top of American Division (Update Elizabeth Clark Photos)

WILMINGTON — Making seven shots count, Wilmington blanked Clinton-Massie 3-0 Tuesday in SBAAC American Division boys soccer at Alumni Field.

Ben Angelica tallied two goals on three shots while Bryce Vilvens made his one shot on the mark. Jason Tecu had an assist for Wilmington.

The Hurricane remains in a battle for the top spot in the American Division with a 5-2 mark. Goshen and Batavia also are 5-2.

The Hurricane has won six of its last seven matches.

The Falcons are a game behind the league-leading trio at 4-3 in the conference and 5-5 overall.

Wilmington (7-3) received a sterling effort in goal from Scotty Hall who made 10 saves between the pipes for the Hurricane.
