Malott of BHS 2nd in SBAAC National Division boys golf

GOSHEN — Blanchester’s Evan Malott finished as the SBAAC National Division boys golf runnerup Wednesday following the 18-hole conference tournament at Eagles Nest Golf Course.

In the tournament, East Clinton and Blanchester tied for third in the team standings with 386 totals.

Karson LaGrange of Williamsburg was the division medalist in the 18-hole event.

LaGrange also won tournament medalist honors with Malott second. Cole Mueller of Blanchester was eighth. Wade Smith and Mitchell Ellis of East Clinton tied for 11th.

Kaiden Roth of East Clinton was 21st with Brian White of Blanchester 23rd, Eason Jones of BHS 27th, Jamison Matthews of EC 36th and Colton Burgess of EC 37th.

Clermont Northeastern won the overall team championship for the season with Georgetown second, Bethel-Tate third, Williamsburg fourth, East Clinton fifth, Blanchester sixth and Felicity seventh.
