Warriors beat Hurricane, earn no worse than share of American title

GOSHEN — Wilmington lost a battle of SBAAC American Division heavyweights Tuesday night against Goshen 5-2.

The loss leaves Wilmington one game behind Goshen in the league standings. WHS is 6-3, along with Batavia, while the Warriors are 7-2 and can finish no worse than a share of the American Division championship.

In all games, Wilmington is 10-4, Goshen 7-3-1.

The Hurricane has a league match against New Richmond while the Warriors will play at Clinton-Massie, who is 5-3-1 in league play.

Ben Angelica had two Hurricane goals while goalkeeper Scotty Hall and Bryce Vilvens were credited with assists for the Hurricane.

Eybi Hidalgo had three goals for Goshen and Zane Jimison added two.
