Falcons push Broncos to the brink but fall 3-2

MT. ORAB — Clinton-Massie pushed Western Brown to the brink Tuesday before falling 21-25, 25-17, 23-25, 27-25, 15-4 in SBAAC volleyball action.

The Falcons are 2-18 on the year, 0-9 in league play. The Broncos go to 8-12, 4-5.

“The girls played their best game of the season despite having our Libero out due to an injury,” coach Brianna Machado said. “Bella Shivler stepped up and did an amazing job. The whole team adjusted great even though the outcome wasn’t what we wanted.

“Special shout out to the CM boys varsity soccer team for staying to cheer us on in all five sets.”
