Alexia Holland is pictured with a bluegill she caught during the program, where students fish under the guidance of school staff. According to Sharri Ford, who took over the program after it was originally started by Aaron Seewer in 2020, the goal is to extend student education beyond the classroom through interactions with people, nature, and the outdoors. The program also aims to promote healthy lifestyles, build positive relationships, and create lasting experiences.
