FAYETTEVILLE — Dameon Williams scored five touchdowns and East Clinton won the first time this season 38-6 Friday over Fayetteville-Perry.
Dominic Williams scored on an interception return for touchdown in the fourth quarter for the other East Clinton touchdown.
Dameon scored two touchdowns as East Clinton held a 14-0 halftime lead. His score late in the third pushed the Astros to a 20-0 advantage.
Carson Jones threw a nice pass to Dameon for another TD before the Rockets got on the board at the 7:20 mark of the final quafter.
Dominic Williams responded with a pick-6 at 4:36 of the fourth as the Astros marched toward victory with a 32-6 advantage.
The next Fayetteville drive ended with a punt and Dameon capped the evening by taking it all the way for the touchdown to give EC its first win of 2024.
