NEW RICHMOND — Unbeaten league champion New Richmond defeated Wilmington 25-15, 25-11, 25-15 Tuesday in the SBAAC American Division volleyball finale.
The Hurricane is 8-12 overall and 3-7 in the league.
The Lions are 10-0 American Division champions and 16-5 in all matches.
”We just couldn’t let the mental mistakes go tonight,” WHS coach Stephanie Reveal said. “We would have a couple good points then let them roll off 5-8 points and with good teams you can not do that.”
Auna Hudson had six kills for WHS while Aidynne Tippett had 10 assists. Layla Reynolds finished with 12 digs.
