County splits Week 8 games: CM, WHS come out on top

Clinton-Massie and Wilmington won their SBAAC American Division games in Week 8 of the 2024 high school football season.

The Falcons pulled away from Western Brown Friday for a 42-14 win.

The Hurricane had no trouble with Goshen, defeating the Warriors 41-0.

In the National Division, things didn’t go so well for Blanchester and East Clinton.

The Astros trailed 6-0 after one quarter but league-leader Williamsburg roared to a 47-0 win.

The Wildcats were unable to hold a 14-0 lead and lost to league unbeaten Bethel-Tate 35-14.
