Week 9 Final: Blanchester 58, Fayetteville-Perry 12

BLANCHESTER — Brayden Behymer threw four touchdown passes and Blanchester dominated in all phases of the game Friday in a 58-12 win over Fayetteville-Perry at Barbour Memorial Field.

The senior night win puts Blanchester at 3-6 on the year, 2-2 in the National Division.

The Rockets are 1-8 overall, 0-4 against National Division teams.

Behymer threw touchdowns passes of 9, 12, 80 and 90 yards Friday, the first two going to Caleb Sears as BHS sprinted out to a 14-0 lead.

Kaden Cromer scored from 44 yards out on a reverse with 3:16 to go in the opening period and the Wildcats were running away early, 20-0.

Sammy Roush scored the first his three touchdowns, this one an 80-yard catch and run for the fourth first quarter TD for BHS.

After Fayetteville made it 28-6, Blanchester closed the first half with a flourish by scoring two more touchdowns. BHS went up 35-6 on a 90-yard pass play from Behymer to Alex Johnson.

Then after a Zack Musselman interception, Roush rushed it in from 12 yards out and the Wildcats were on top 43-6 at the break.

With a running clock to start the second half, Blanchester scored again when Roush picked up a blocked punt and reached the end zone at the 9:00 mark of the third.

Isaiah Abbott rounded out the scoring with a 10 yard touchdown run.
