Four Clinton County runners qualified for next weeks regional cross country races based on their finishes at Saturday’s district meets.
East Clinton had two boys while Clinton-Massie had one boy and one girl advance.
In the Division III meet at Voice of America Park, Jackson Seabaugh was 12th in 18:08.32 and Landen Kaun was 14th in 18:24.24. Both are season best times.
In the Division II meet at Voice of America Park, Clinton-Massie’s Caleb Werling was 20th in the boys race in 17:20.82 while Malea Beam was 15th in the girls race in 21:30.35. Both times are season best results.
East Clinton’s Dru Simmons missed by one place of advancing.
The Region 8 and Region 12 races will all be held in Troy. The Division III boys races will begin at 10 a.m. while the Division II boys race will begin at noon with the Division II girls race starting at 12:45 p.m.
