WILMINGTON — Theatre at Wilmington High School is set to present “Clue: On Stage” — and tickets are now on sale.

Top, Lite-Brite, Masters of the Universe in toy hall of fame

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — The National Toy Hall of Fame’s new honorees include an object dating to ancient times, a line of muscle-bound action figures and an iconic art set whose medium is colorful pegs. The hall on Thursday announced the top, Masters of the Universe and Lite-Brite as this year’s inductees.

Local veteran receives patriotic quilt

Dick Simpson, Blanchester resident and US Navy veteran, has been a member of the Marion Post 179 for over 30 years. He has held numerous positions, including 1st Vice, 2nd Vice and Commander. He recently was presented with a patriotic quilt in thanks for his many years of service. Simpson is currently an active member of Marion Post 179. The quilt was designed and made by Marilyn Fenner of Blanchester Quilts and Crafts.

Dems kept the Senate this year, but 2024 may be harder

Community development program public meeting to be held

The City of Wilmington and Clinton County Regional Planning Commission will be holding a public engagement meeting regarding the Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Revitalization program at Bible Missionary Baptist Church at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8.
