GOSHEN — Wilmington tied Clinton-Massie for top team honors Wednesday in the SBAAC Girls Golf 9-hole match at Deer Track Golf Course.

“Hats off to Wilmington, they played well,” Clinton-Massie coach James Brady said.

Grace Boone of Clinton-Massie was the overall medalist, shooting a 45. Kailey Pfister of Wilmington was runnerup with a 46.

Alivia Brewster led the Wildcats with a 51.

The Hurricane and the Falcons both had team totals of 199.

“This course is not one that we historically play well at, today was much of the same,” Brady said. “I am very fortunate to be coaching a great group of young people. They are going to accomplish awesome things in life. I hope this is a game that will always be a part of their lives.”

Clinton-Massie still leads the overall team standings by a wide margin. Boone leads teammate Stormie Stroud by six strokes for top individual honors.
