WILMINGTON — The annual 2016 Wilmington Wine Walk will be held on Friday, May 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. Hosted by Main Street Wilmington, this year’s walk will include 12 locations serving various wines and hors d’oeuvres.
“We are very pleased to offer many varieties of wines this year. It is such a great event because people can have a taste of Wilmington’s great businesses and have an experience they can’t have anywhere else,” said Bekah Muchmore, executive director of Main Street Wilmington.
The locations of the 2016 Wine Walk include: Beehive Framing, Everyday Chic Boutique, Rome Jewelers, South Street Wine Cellar, For a Song and a Story, Jeannie’s Palo Fabrics, The Murphy Theatre, The Murphy Studios, Strength and Dignity Clothing & Co., The Crave Candy and Nuts, South Street Art Gallery, and the Mediterranean Restaurant.
Tickets will start being for sale this Friday, April 22. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online only at www.mainstreetwilmington.com.
There is a limit of 325 tickets for sale for the event, with 25 of the tickets purchased for designated drivers for $10, stated a media release.
