WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Democratic Party held its annual fall dinner Sunday evening in the Robert Moyer Community Room in Wilmington. An enthusiastic crowd listened to “qualified candidates with a real vision for the future, who will serve the people of Clinton County and make ethical decisions that will help and best serve the people” according to the party.

Speakers were Connie Pillich, former state representative; Braydon Bevens, candidate for State School Board member; Dean Feldmeyer, candidate for Clinton County commissioner; Scott Wharton, candidate for Congress, 15th District; and former Ohio First Lady Frances Strickland, who spoke on behalf of her husband, Ted, candidate for the U.S. Senate.

The Democratic Party reminds local residents that the last day to register to vote is Oct. 11 and the first day of early voting is Oct. 12. If you have questions, contact the board of elections at 937-382-3537 or at www.electionsonthe.net/oh/clinton.
