CLARKSVILLE — High school senior Ellie Smedley was selected to represent Clinton-Massie as one of the Wilmington Noon Rotary Club’s November Students of the Month. Ellie is known throughout the Clinton-Massie community for her strong character, work ethic, and academic commitment.

She has served her school community as an office aide at the middle school and the high school for three years. She is also a member of the National Honor Society.

Outside the school setting, Ellie attends the Wilmington Church of Christ where she volunteers in the nursery and works at Skyline Chili to earn money to help offset the cost of college.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoys camping and boating at Dale Hollow Lake and Lake Cumberland.

Looking to the future, Ellie plans to attend Kettering College of Medical Arts where she has been accepted into the sonography program.

Ellie joined other area Students of the Month at the Wilmington Noon Rotary club luncheon held at Damon’s Grill in Wilmington.

She is the daughter of Rick and Taffney Smedley.
