WILMINGTON — A local man was arrested Tuesday and charged with domestic violence and aggravated burglary.

Wilmington Police Chief Duane Weyand said police responded to a West Locust Street residence Tuesday for a reported disturbance.

“Upon arrival, officers learned that Orlando Pagan, age 58, of Wilmington went to his estranged wife’s house and made entry into the home, where he threatened to kill his step-daughter’s boyfriend and caused minor injury to his estranged wife,” Weyand said.

Pagan fled the scene just after the incident occurred and was taken into custody without incident a few minutes later, Weyand said.

He was transported to the Clinton County Jail.
