Hoopers enjoy watching grandchildren in action

Butch and Connie Hooper, center, enjoyed watching grandson D.J. Luttrell, left, and Cam Stewart, right, play basketball Friday night at Fred Summers Court. Luttrell plays for East Clinton while Stewart plays for Wilmington High School. Connie made her own sweater to show she enjoys watching both grandsons — one side gray with red EC 32 for D.J. and the other side orange with black W 3 for Cameron. DJ and Cameron are not the only grandchildren for the Hoopers, though. Butch and Connie have 10 grandchildren in all and attended 277 events in person from Dec. 1, 2014 through Dec. 1, 2015 watching them in various athletic endeavors.
