Hickey 11th in Region 4 discus competition

Wilmington High School Ashlynn Hickey, just hours before she received her high school diploma Friday, finished 11th in the Region 4 Track & Field Championship discus competition at Welcome Stadium. Hickey came into the event seeded 13th, so her best of 32-10.5 improved her standing by two spots, WHS coach Eileen Grosse noted. Hickey also had throws of 30-5.75 and 31-8.75.
