East Clinton’s Mersadees Gulley, 420, and Brittney Wheeler, 419, competed in the East Clinton Invitational Wednesday.

LEES CREEK — Blanchester won the East Clinton High School Cross Country Invitational Wednesday at ECHS.

Hunter Browning of BHS was the overall race winner, clocking an 18:06.

The Wildcats finished with 21 points while Clermont Northeastern had 47 and East Clinton 73.

The meet was contested with both boys and girls on the course, running as one race.

Danny Feal-Fajardo was East Clinton’s first runner, finishing seventh in 20:35.

Savannah Rhodes was the first female to finish. The BHS senior was 15th overall in 23:14.

Rebecca Bevan was the first Lady Astro to hit the line, placing 23rd in 27:18.
