WHS reserve girls tennis wraps up season

The Wilmington High School girls reserve tennis team finished its season Tuesday in the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coaches Association Fall Classic reserve tournament at Seven Hills High School.

The Lady Hurricane competed in Flight C.

Junior Emily Davis was runnerup at third singles with a couple of victories.

Freshman Emma Schroeder and freshman Zane Bekheet paired to win two matches and earn third-place overall at first doubles.

Freshman Brooklyn Nielsen competed at first singles and won a match while junior Joanna Gonzales competed in the second singles bracket.

The team of sophomore Loghan Kinsey and freshman Kristina Walt competed in the second doubles bracket.

For the year, Wilmington had an 11-3 record, coach Steve Reed said.
